LANDesk® Handheld and Embedded Device Manager makes it easy to distribute software packages and updates to both your wired and wireless devices using LANDesk® Management Suite’s familiar task scheduler. Plus with LANDesk® Handheld File Exchange™ technology you can push out key documents or price lists to selected handhelds and pull critical data files up to the core server for automated data collection.

Dynamic bandwidth throttling adjusts automatically for slower wireless connections, so software distribution tasks don’t monopolize bandwidth. In addition, data compression reduces total traffic sent over wireless links, while checkpoint restart helps ensure that should a task be interrupted, it is completed at the next available opportunity.
